Spotify understands the importance of keeping your music experience fresh and diverse. Traditional song shuffling can sometimes result in us listening to the same songs in a similar order, which can become boring. This is where Smart Shuffle comes handy!
How does the Smart Shuffle work?
Spotify's Smart Shuffle uses advanced machine learning algorithms to analyze your music preferences, including your favorite genres, artists and recently played songs. This feature adds new, personalized songs to your playlist while maintaining the "vibe" of the original composition. If you want to go back to the original layout, just click the Smart Shuffle button again.
New Songs with Smart Shuffle
One of the most important benefits of Smart Shuffle is its ability to keep your playlist fresh. It adds new mood-matching songs that can upgrade your favorite playlists and make you discover new artists and songs. If you want to keep recommended songs permanently in your playlist, you can do it easily with one click.
Recommendations added by Smart Shuffle are marked with a ✨ symbol, which allows you to quickly identify the added songs. If the recommended song doesn't meet your expectations, you can remove it by clicking the minus button in the "Now Playing" view, which will allow the system to learn your preferences.
Smart Shuffle for Premium & Free Users
Smart Shuffle is available to both Premium and free users. Premium users has feature that replaces Enhance, which was introduced in 2021 and is available globally on iOS and Android devices. For Free Smart Shuffle Users it is the default playback mode.
